Oil increases with proximity to the OPEC meeting

The oscillation that oil has recorded a high at the end of this week. On Friday, May 19, the Brent contract for July was operating on high 50.24 per barrel, in the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE).

As the Offshore Panorama had already reported, the next meeting of the Organization of petroleum exporting countries (Opec), scheduled to take place on May 25, comes the price of influencing commodity because it will discuss whether or not an extension of the term of production cuts of "black gold".

The deal will be about 1.8 million barrels decrease, for nine more months. Everything indicates that the Organization should maintain the cuts. Want more information?
