Oil operates at fall even with OPEC's agreement
On Friday, 13 January, WTI crude oil for February, most liquid contract, fell 1.02%, to $52.47 a barrel, on the New York Mercantile Exchange (Nymex), while Brent for March registered a loss of 0.95%, to $55.48 a barrel, on ICE.
Despite oil purchases in China, Saudi Arabia's production reduction and cuts in Russia and some other countries, the value of the oil hasn't been able to settle on high, and only this week in January underwent a seesaw in their records.
