Q&G: Russia calls BRICS for projects

In a videoconference meeting with the Brics Energy Ministers (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) on Wednesday (14), Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said he invited the other countries of the group to participate in joint oil and gas projects in the Arctic.

The meeting, which aimed to discuss measures to overcome the impact of the covid-19 pandemic on the energy sector, was chaired by Novak, who added that the recovery of global energy markets would be slow in the wake of the second wave of the outbreak.
