Port of Suape resumes construction

The South Atlantic Shipyard (EAS), installed in the port of Suape in Pernambuco, celebrated through a resolution of the Board of the merchant marine Fund (FMM) to grant priority to the financing of South American Tanker Company Navigation S.A. (Satco) in the acquisition of eight type tanker vessels. The Satco, a Brazilian Navigation Company (EBN) with international investors, hired the construction of vessels by the EAS in a project with a budget of more than 2.2 billion R$.
