It looks like the sea is for oil again. As reported previously by Panorama Offshore, the P-66 went into operation on Wednesday, May 17. Together with its partners of the Consortium BM-S-11, Petrobras started oil and natural gas production in the area of Lula South, in the pre-salt Santos basin, through the first FPOS consortium itself.
With the beginning of the operations of P-66, the State will get the ability to process daily 150,000 barrels of oil and 6 million cubic metres of gas to compress. Initially connected to the Squid through the producer pit 7-LL-60 d, the platform is located about 290 km far from the coast of the State of Rio de Janeiro, in water depth of 2,150 meters.
According to Petrobras, the Squid system South is the first to start production this year and is in line with the business plan and management company 2017-2021. Added the system there are eleven FPSO's in operation in the pre-salt Santos basin. The Lula field is located in concession BM-S-11 operated by Petrobras (65%), in partnership with BG E&P Brazil-company subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell plc (25%) and Petrogal (10%).ACESSE AS REDES DA PANORAMA OFFSHORE:
