Pre-salt production in the month of June remains high

The month of June ended with a gold key for the production of the pre-salt with a quantity much higher than expected, equivalent to 1,551,000 barrels per day and 62.8 million cubic meters of natural gas. This value obtained an increase of 10.4% compared to the same month of 2018.

The productivity of the pre-salt presented 59.8% of the total produced in the country. The Campo de Lula, in the Santos Basin, was the region that most stood out with an average of 799,000 bpd of oil and 33 million m³/day of natural gas.

The areas of Marlim Sul, in the Campos Basin, Arara Azul, Araracanga, Carapanaúba, Cupiúba, Urucu River and Southwest Urucu presented the largest natural gas production of the month of June.
