Ethanol price rises in 20 states and the Federal District

A survey by the National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) showed that there was an increase in the price of ethanol at fuel pumps in 20 states of the country and in the Federal District. The data were released on Monday (10).

According to the survey, the price of the product rose about 2.10%, from R$ 3.90 to R$ 3.95. The ANP also stated that ethanol consumption is only advantageous in the states of Mato Grosso and Minas Gerais. Among all the posts analyzed by the agency, the highest value was found in an establishment in Rio Grande do Sul (R$ 6.20) and the lowest in São Paulo (R$ 3.25).
