Oil and gas production falls 3.8%, says ANP

Oil and natural gas production in Brazil fell 3.8% in November 2020, according to data published by the National Agency for Oil, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) on Monday (4). This drop was mainly pulled by Petrobras, which had its production reduced by 6% – about 2.579 million barrels of oil equivalent (boe).

The state-owned company's oil production fell, reaching the 2 million barrels per day mark against 2.142 million b/d the previous month. Natural gas production fell from 95 million cubic meters per day, down 5.2%. In all, oil and natural gas production in the country totaled 3.549 million barrels of oil equivalent, of which 2.754 million barrels of oil and 126.3 million cubic meters of gas.
