The total production of oil and natural gas from Petrobras, in June 2016, was of 2,900,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, which represents the monthly record of production of oil and gas from the company, surpassing the previous record, achieved in August 2015, amounting to 2,880,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed). This June was 2% above the volume produced in May (2,830,000 boed), from which 2,700,000 boed were produced in Brazil and 200,000 boed abroad.
The average production of oil only in June was 2,300,000 barrels per day, 2% above the volume produced in the previous month, which was $2,240,000. Of this total, 2,200,000 barrels were produced in Brazil and 0.1 million abroad.
This volume of oil produced in June in Brazil is the third largest monthly production average ever recorded by Petrobras. The growth was due mainly to the entry of new wells connected to the FPSO (ships with capacity to process, store, and dispose of the oil production and/or natural gas) from the town of Marica and Itaguaí, in the field of Lula, Lula High areas and Iracema, respectively.ACESSE AS REDES DA PANORAMA OFFSHORE:
