Oil production has a drop of 1%, but maintains stability

Petrobras reported on Wednesday the production of oil and natural gas of 2.7 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed) in January of this year, volume close to the registered in December. Of the total, 2.6 million were produced in Brazil and 97000, abroad.
The total production of the company, considering also that of its partners, was 3.3 million barrels of daily equivalent oil, with 3.2 million produced in Brazil.

In the period, the average oil production in the country was 2.1 million barrels per day (bpd), a drop of 1% before December. Petrobras assigns the retreat to the maintenance of the floating unit of production, storage and transfer of oil and gas (FPSO, in the acronym in English) Capixaba, ship that operates in the park of the whales, in the basin of Campos, and the assignment of 35% of the rights of the field of Lapa for Fran Total Cesa, in the salt of the Santos basin.

On the outside, the average production was 61000 bpd, in line with the result of December. The production of natural gas, excluding liquefied volume, has risen 1% in relation to December, to 78.7 million cubic meters per day. Abroad, however, receded 7.4%, to 6.2 million cubic meters. Source.
