Oil production presents fall in the month of June

Due to the maintenance of the floating unit of production, storage and transfer (FPSO) Paraty City, located in the field of Lula, pre-salt of the Santos basin, the average yield of oil fell about 1.5% in June, reaching the volume of 2,030,000 barrels Per day (bpd), compared to the previous month. In addition, the influence of the demise of the camp of Snorer for the Norwegian company Equinor (Ex-Statoil) of 25% of the participation, completed on 14 June.

The production of natural gas in Brazil also obtained a fall of 3.4% in the same period, reaching 78.2 million of cubic meters per day. According to Petrobras the reason was also the maintenance of the FPSO city of Paraty.

On the outside, the performance was better and the production yielded 60000 bpd of oil, reflecting a high of 2.3% compared to May, with the increase in production in fields in Nigeria. The production of natural gas was the same as the previous month in a total of 6.4 million m ³/d.

The productivity of Petrobras, which includes its own parcel and its partners, reached 3.3 million boed being 3,170,000 of boed in Brazil.
