P&G production falls 6.7% in the country in May

According to data from the National Petroleum Agency, (ANP), oil and natural gas production in Brazil fell 6.7% in the month of May. Of 3.738 million barrels of oil equivalent per (boe/d) in April, the volume was 3.484 million barrels of oil equivalent (boe).

It is worth remembering that the drop in demand is linked to the covid-19. In more, oil production fell 6.5% to 2.765 million barrels per day, compared to 2,958 b/d in April. On the other hand, natural gas production has given way 7.7% to 114.3 million cubic meters. However, pre-salt production continues to lead the volume produced (67.8%), but also fell 9.02% compared to to the previous month.
