The approval of the Presidency of the Republic of the Revitalization and Incentive Program for the Production of Maritime Fields (Promar) was published in the Official Gazette (DOU) on Monday (28). The program, authored by the National Energy Policy Council (CNPE), has as main objective the revitalization of mature oil and gas fields located at sea in the national territory.
The idea would be to extend the useful life of these fields, increasing the recovery factor through measures for better conditions of use. Among the objectives are also the generation of jobs and maintenance of the local goods and services industry. In the event that it begins to operate, program members still need to be named.
The Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) will be responsible for, through the Secretariat of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels, raising with the industry and relevant government agencies opportunities to meet the objectives of Promar.ACESSE AS REDES DA PANORAMA OFFSHORE:
