Raízen took responsibility for the refining and distribution of Shell fuels in Argentina, informed the company's board of directors last Sunday, 30 September and also the installation of the refinery that will be made in the capital Buenos Aires. Shell also operates on ethanol, sugar and bioenergy and has a great chance of making a company with an annual revenue greater than R $100 billion.
According to the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP), Raízen is the second largest fuel distributor in Brazil and saw in Shell assets in Argentina a great opportunity in the enterprise that is similar to those of companies in Country for its efficiency and be of great size.
In this project, Raízen will invest about us $916 million, which is below the foregoing of US $950 million. The project will have 665 posts and an approximate production capacity of 140,000 barrels per day.
In Brazil, production has also grown, and investments have increased, which does not favor the population, since the sums collected are not used for the improvement of the country. The owners of the companies are favored, but not for the people, because each time the price of fuel increases.
