Brazilian regions may suffer from lack of energy

At least three regions in Brazil are at risk of suffering from blackouts due to drought in the country's hydroelectric plants, according to the forecast of the National Electric System Operator (ONS). They're the Southeast, Midwest and South.

The possibility of lack of energy occurs amid the scenario of the worst water crisis in the last eight years, having recorded the lowest levels of rain in the last 90 years. Thus, eight major hydroelectric plants in the country are expected to arrive in November with the reservoirs virtually empty.
