Repass of the interest rate contribution by the oil production was R $5.4 billion
The reference to the special participation of the fourth quarter of 2017 reached R $5.4 billion, almost the total recorded throughout the year of 2016, R $5.9 billion, reported on Tuesday, 27, the National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP). Of this total, R $2.7 billion went to the union, being r $2.2 billion destined for the Social fund.
The field of Lula was the one that generated the largest collection, with R $3.3 billion, followed by Thrush, with R $763.7 million, and humpback, with R $437.3 million. The three fields are located in the pre-salt, and humpback also produces from the bidding capixaba.
Maricá and Niterói were the municipalities that received the greatest repasses of the special participation for the fourth quarter of 2017, because they were the biggest confronted with the field of Lula. Received r $165.1 million and R $145.3 million, respectively. The state of Rio de Janeiro received R $1.6 billion.
According to the ANP, the values relate only to quarterly repasses and do not contemplate payments of any hits/audits. The special participation is a quarterly financial compensation for the production of oil and/or natural gas in fields with great production. Source: Journal of Brazil
