Rio Grande gets new cranes

Come this January new cranes to the Container Terminal (Tecon) Rio Grande shipyard. Are expected three STS cranes (Ship to Shore Container Crane) and eight RTGs (Rubber Tyre Gantry Crane-gantry crane on tires). The purchase, for $40 million, was held with the ZPMC.

The recovery of the work with containers in the terminal was made possible through the partnership between Braskem (which owns the rights to use on the complex), Wilson Sounds (which has the task of managing the actions through the company Wilport) and navigation Box (which makes the transport of Triumph the Rio Grande and in reverse). Tecon Rio Grande (which is controlled by the Wilson sounds) will be just one of the ends of the path, receiving and sending charges for the so-called Contesc (Containers Terminal Santa Clara).
