Russia reduces oil production in 100000 barrels

Following what was agreed with the Organization of petroleum exporting countries (Opec), Russia has, in early January, oil production in 100000 barrels per day compared to December 2016. The intention is to limit the global supply of the commodity and thus enhance the price of oil in the world.

According to Reuters, which obtained information from two sources in the sector for the period from 1 to 8 January, Russia had an average of 11,100,000 barrels a day, representing a low compared with the same period in the previous month. According to the Russian Minister Alexander Novak production goal is reduce to 10,974,000 bpd.
