In a statement, Petrobras stated that the sale of assets in the offshore fields of Pampo and Enchova, on the coast of Rio de Janeiro, is in the stage of presentation of final offerings, however, the state has not reported values or names of buyers.
The British news agency Reuters had already reported on Tuesday, 28, that the oil company approached the sale of mature fields, indicating that the process can reach about US $1 billion, with Trident Energy as the favorite for acquisition.
The fields of Pampo and Enchova produce together the equivalent of 39000 barrels of oil per day, two of the main mature production wells in Petrobras ' disinvestment portfolio.
