Members of the Committee on Economic Affairs (CAE) discussed the current fuel distribution system in the country. The senators talked about the possibility of a possible cartel of fuel distributors, in view of the great price instability in the sector. The public hearing took place on Tuesday (6).
It is important to note that, currently, direct sales between refineries and gas stations are not allowed in Brazil.
