September has shauline in P&G production

According to an estimate by the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME), September showed a consistent fall in oil and natural gas production. The reduction was around 5% compared to August, the agency said in the 26th weekly Covid-19 Monitoring Bulletin.

Another sector that showed a drop in production was refineries, with the unit utilization factor reduced from 76.8% on September 27, to 69.2% on Monday (12). The reduction was associated with the total stops of the Reduc refineries in Rio de Janeiro and Recap in São Paulo.

On The last day 2, Reduc had an interruption in the power supply by the company that supplies the region and hit several municipalities in Rio de Janeiro, leading to the general stopover of the refinery. The Capuava Refinery (Recap), entered into scheduled maintenance on October 3 with an expected duration of 35 days.
