Strikers protest at Rede Globo headquarters
It's been 14 days of protests by oil tankers taking place throughout Brazil. Workers at the Duque de Caxias Refinery (Reduc) held a demonstration in front of rede Globo headquarters requesting coverage of the national strike, which already mobilizes 108 units in 13 states, with more than 20,000 oil tankers paralyzed.
It is already the largest strike in the branch since it happened in 1995, which lasted 32 days. The two have as their background the possibility of privatization of assets of the state.
In the southeast region, there are already 39 Petrobras platforms that joined the strike. As in Espírito Santo, the Campos Basin and Bahia, in the terminals of Candeias and Catu, and in the Pylon terminal in Cubatão. In Rio Grande do Norte, workers operating the Ubarana Field cut the surrender in shipments and workers of the Guamaré Industrial Asset (AIG), responsible for the production of LPG, aviation kerosene and diesel, also increase participation in the strike. The same occurs in the fields of terrestrial production.
