Thermoelectric plant in Açu Port will generate about 2,500 jobs

With the implementation of thermoelectric plants in Porto do Açu, in São João da Barra, North Fluminense, will be created about 2,500 job vacancies. Together, the UTE GNA I and UTE GNA II plants will make the thermoelectric complex in the Port of Açu the largest in Latin America with the capacity to produce 3 gigawatts, which can serve up to 14 million households.

The financing of the first thermoelectric was completed on Wednesday (3) as disclosed by the Natural Gas of Açu. The first plant is scheduled for 2021, and the second to 2023.
