Tinder's natural gas aims to innovate the sector

With a focus on accelerating the opening of natural gas, Abrace (Brazilian Association of Large Energy Consumers), will coordinate a project that would function as a "Tinder" that aims to bring consumers closer to sellers. The proposal seeks to enable the first free consumers of the sector from next year. Although the association coordinates the "meetings", the closing of the contract will depend on the consumer and seller.

The idea is to allow buyers and sellers to come closer to chat. According to Paulo Pedrosa, president of Abrace, the edict is in accordance with competition laws, so that it is not confused or considered a cartel. "Let's say who wants gas, where it is and how much it needs and we will let someone come forward to offer. The idea is that this movement will help find solutions and also identify barriers that can be removed," Pedrosa said.
