Total wants to promote carbon neutralization

Total announced this week that it will create a for the promotion of carbon neutralisation, which will result in accumulated capital of $400 million within five years. Second, Patrick Pouyanné, president petrochemical, Total Carbon Neutrality Ventures (TCNV) will invest in start-ups with innovative technologies or solutions that can contribute to carbon neutrality.

The fund will seek initiatives around the world to receive contributions, with teams based in Europe and the USA, in areas such as energy intelligent, energy storage, intelligent mobility, bioplastics and Recycling.

The project is based on Total Ventures’ existing portfolio 35 global startups that contribute directly and indirectly to the carbon neutrality.
