Trump asks Opec to increase oil production

Going against the proposal to reduce oil production, U.S. President Donald Trump requested that members of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) Expand the production of the commodity to reduce prices.

According to the leader of the United States, the world markets are fragile, so the prices of the barrels are high. "Very important that Opec increase the flow of oil…", wrote in his account on the social network Twitter, ending with a "thank you".

The request goes against the precepts of the cartel, which believes that the valuation of commodity prices will be a reduction in the supply of oil in the market. Therefore, since the end of 2016, Opec and partner countries such as Russia and Saudi Arabia are maintaining a reduction pact in production. How will the members react to the request?
