Rising prices of liquefied petroleum gas, also known as LPG or cooking gas, have been a constant concern in several regions of the country. The product has undergone several adjustments since 2019, which displeases the pocket of Brazilians.
According to a survey by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), the price variation of the canister has affected the way food is prepared. The analysis shows that more than 3 million Brazilians have chosen to use firewood or charcoal to cook, instead of cooking gas.
One of the reasons for the increase in the canister, according to experts, is the change in Petrobras' pricing policy, which makes the oil market freer. Thus, petroleum products such as gasoline, diesel and gas depend on the price balance of the international market. Thus, the Brazilian currency depreciates compared to the international price, which directly affects the value of the gas cylinder.ACESSE AS REDES DA PANORAMA OFFSHORE:
