Unigel invests more in clean energy production

Recognized as one of the largest petrochemical groups in Brazil, Unigel invests in recycling and renewable resources such as wind and solar power, with the aim of manufacturing clean chemicals. The company's plan is* to put into practice the decarbonization process. Also in the investment framework, the group will build a green ammonia factory in Bahia.

Roberto Noronha, president of the company, says that "the concern about decarbonization already existed in Unigel and has been accelerated lately. We follow what customers are asking for. I believe that the company that does not invest to reduce the carbon footprint and its emissions will die."

Unigel relies on the production force of these renewable matrices in Brazil to complete the objective, which makes the company perform more with the environment and at the same time stand out in front of competitors.
