Vote on the Gas Bill is postponed in the House

The vote session on the Gas Act, which proposes a new legal framework for the natural gas sector, has been postponed again. The vote would take place last Wednesday (3), in the House of Representatives. According to the Vice-President of the Chamber, Marcelo Ramos (PL / AM), who leads the plenary, the goal of the postponement would be an attempt to "increase the level of convergence".

It is worth remembering that the vote has been postponed since the bill returned from the Federal Senate at the end of last year. The special session will discuss interim measures, financial issues and projects linked to the pandemic emergency.

According to the Mayor, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), the bill will be voted on Thursday next week. The federal government expects the project to be approved.
