75th Biodiesel auction negotiates 1.19 billion liters

The 75th Biodiesel Auction of the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) ended, in which 1,189,020,000 liters of biodiesel were traded. The average price of the negotiations was R $ 5.043 / L, and the total value reached R $ 6 billion. The 75th Auction aims to guarantee the national supply of fuel in the period from September 1 to October 31, 2020.

The Stage of Presentation of Offers to attend the mandatory mixture occurred on August 3, with 42 producers, in which a total of 1,189,020,000 liters of biodiesel were made available. In the first stage of selection of the offers, held on August 20, 21, 24, 25, 26 and 27, 1,166,420,000 liters were purchased from the Producers who hold the Social Fuel Seal, representing 98.10% of the total offered in the Auction. In the Offer Restatement Stage, held on Thursday (27), 22,600,000 liters were purchased from producers that do not hold the Social Fuel Seal, about 1.90% of the total offered.

All the available volume was negotiated in the stages to meet the mandatory mixture, so the steps for voluntary mixing were not carried out.
