According to Panorama Offshore had already reported (http://migre.me/wirpz), the Gas Company of Bahia (Bahiagás) will build the largest Northeastern distribution pipeline about 300 km long. On March 21, the company published in the Official Gazette of the Competition Notice 0002/2017 for the hiring company or specialized consortium for the execution of construction services and assembly of the first stretch of the Southwest Gas – Natural Gas Distribution Duct South-west.
The Southwest Gas is the main project of the Multi-Annual Investment Plan 2017-2021 of Bahiagás. With a total length of 306 kilometers and investments of R $ 505 million, the distribution pipeline will pass through 13 municipalities and will be the largest in the Northeast and the second largest in Brazil.
With R $ 504.5 million contribution, the project will go through three stages. The first in the stretch of Ipiaú / Itagibá to Jequié (R $ 117.5 million); the second Jequié the Maracas (112.3 million) and the third Maracas Brumado (R $ 274.5 million). According to information, the works should end in 2020.
