According to the annual report of ember experts and of Agora Energiewende, most of europe's electricity generation came, for the first time, from renewable sources rather than fossil fuels during 2020.
Wind, solar, hydraulic and biomass are responsible for 38% of the electricity produced on the continent today. This figure represents an increase of 3.4%, compared to 2019, when the use of fossil fuels fell by about 37%.
