Cooking gas rises 9.8%

According to announcement made by Petrobras, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), better known as cooking gas, will rise from this Tuesday, March 21. The high percentage should be on average 9.8%.

If the new index is fully passed on to the consumer, the cylinder of 13 kg of gas will cost R $ 1.76 to more, which represents an increase of 3.1%. The last adjustment took place on 1 September 2015. The current correction does not apply to LPG for industrial use.
