The National Agency for Oil, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) and the state government of Rio de Janeiro signed an agreement to expand the supervision of the payment of royalties and special interests in oil exploration in the state. The agreement was signed last Monday (14).
The new agreement will allow greater control that will ensure the transfer of compensation to which the state of Rio is entitled in the exploration of oil and gas. "We cannot stop fighting for our rights and our royalties are our right," said Rio Governor Cláudio Castro.
It is noteworthy that the agreement complies with the determination of the Superior Federal Court (STF), resulting from the performance of the Parliamentary Committee of Inquiry (CPI) established by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Alerj) in March of this year, to investigate the 40% drop in the collection of the state of Rio related to compensatory revenues from oil and gas exploration.ACESSE AS REDES DA PANORAMA OFFSHORE:
