Government of Venezuela will reduce oil production

In order to successfully meet the target agreed with the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), the government in Venezuela requested that oil production was cut in several fields of the Orinoco Oil Belt, the world's largest oil reservoir.

According to Reuters information, the action would achieve the joint venture of state-owned Petroleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) which is linked to the Russian oil company, Rosneft of Russia and Italy's ENI.
