Ibama authorizes operation of the P-69 platform

Last week, Ibama granted an operating license allowing the FPSO P-69 platform, located in the Lula field, in the Santos basin, to begin Production. The document establishes 35 clauses relating to the monitoring of mammals, beaches, impacts of platforms, vessels on birds in the Santos basin, and development of project for pollution Control.

The new platform will add 600,000 bpd of production capacity, has structure with the ability to store 1.6 million barrels per day, containing a depth of 2,200 meters. In the field of buzios, the platforms FPSOs p-75 and p-76 were also in Operation.

The activity of the fifth platform FPSO P-68 was postponed to only 2019. If Petrobras is able to complete its programming, they will enter the total six platforms in Operation. At first, the development of the platform would yield profit for the country, now it is up to the government to add capital to sectors that have importance for the population as education, health, economics, among Others.
