Inflation raises fuel prices in the country

The Broad National Consumer Price Index 15 (IPCA-15), which is a preview of the country’s official inflation, is 0.14% in November of this year. The number shows acceleration compared to the rate of 0.09% recorded in October, as released by the Brazilian Institute of Geography statistics (IBGE).

As a end, the price of fuels in the country has increased. The november acceleration was pulled by increased gasoline (0.80%) and ethanol (2.53%), diesel oil (0.58%) and vehicular gas (0.10%). Thus, the result increased by 1.07%. In addition, other segments also had increases in their prices, and among these, only three presented deflation.   • Housing: -0.22% (-0.04 p.p.)
  • Articles Residence: -0.06% (0 p.p.)
  • Clothing: 0.68% (0.04 p.p.)
  • Transport: 0.30% (0.06 p.p.)
  • Health and Personal Care: 0.20% (0.02 p.p.)
  • Expenses Personal: 0.40% (0.04 p.p.)
  • Education: 0.04% (0 p.p.)
  • Communication: -0.02% (0 p.p.)
