The rising price of the oil barrel and the recent bidding rounds of the ANP are giving new gas and oxygenating the national offshore market. This boom in the sector can move the labor market in Brazil, especially in Rio de Janeiro, with the possibility of offering about 500,000 new job vacancies up to 2020. The information is from the Executive Secretary of Exploration and production of the Brazilian Institute of Petroleum, Gas and biofuels (IBP), Antônio Guimarães.
In the short and medium term, several areas should have open opportunities, among them cleaning, finance, marketing, and countless others. The hiring and supply should not arise immediately, but according to the progress of the oil exploration and production processes. The last auctions were the generators of industrial destagnation of the sector and the next rounds of bidding this year of 2018 will give the leverage essential for the improvement of the movement of the market.
