The two rounds of the pre-salt, held on 27 October day, raised the projections of revenues from the federal Government for the next three decades in some R $600 billion. Surpassing initial expectations of R $200 billion. The information was given by the Director-General of NPA, Decius Oddone, during the 13th International Conference Brazil Energy and Power, which took place 30 day 2017, in the Auditorium of the Fundação Getúlio Vargas, in Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro.
The recalculation was necessary, according to Oddone, because the percentages regarding the profit oil offered on the 2nd and 3rd rounds of blocks in the pre-salt polygon were above initial projections of ANP. In addition, the President Michel Temer published on the same day of rounds, a note stating that the holdings of the auctioned areas should generate about $ $130 billion in royalties and other forms of storage.
Of the eight areas offered, only two of them were not sold and were paid 6.15 billion reais in signing bonus negotiated areas. ANP's prediction is that production in six packs start within five to seven years. Looks like good winds finally returned to blow the national offshore market.
