Oil in NE: Sergipe gives new destination to substances

Through his social network, the governor of Sergipe, Belivaldo Chagas, reported that the oily substances found on the Sergipe coast will have a new destination. Votorantim Group companies will use the substances as fuel for their furnaces, within environmental standards, and reuse will cost zero for public coffers.

In data released by IBAMA, until last Wednesday (13), there are already 10 states, 112 municipalities and 546 locations affected by oil. In Sergipe, specifically, there are already 5 beaches with spots and 44 with traces of the Material.
