Oil underground research points of SC

The national oil and gas Agency (ANP) has been conducting a search in the underground cities of Santa Catarina, in order to find oil and natural gas. According to the Agency, there is the possibility of oil and gas lands in the State, however, only with the drilling will be possible to confirm the information.

The survey gets data from the vibration of the ground. These waves back to the surface and generate images of rocks. Then, this information is transmitted via satellite to the headquarters of the PNA in Rio de Janeiro.
