Petrobras approves ethics guide for suppliers

Petrobras approved the Guide to Ethical Conduct for its Suppliers, which provides ethical guidance for suppliers from Brazil and abroad, who are involved in business processes, contracts, conditions and cooperation agreement with the company. The document reinforces the oil company's zero tolerance of any form of corruption and fraud. The guide also provides guidance on decent working conditions for employees, combating child and slave labor, respect for the environment, inclusion of people with deficiency and promotion of gender and race diversity.

According to the oil company, the document is aligned with the guidelines of the Dow Jones Sustentability Index, the B3 Corporate Sustainability Index, the Corporate Human Rights Benchmark and the Pro-Ethics Company label of the Ethos Institute and the Comptant General of the Union.
