Oil production in Brazil grows in July

According to a bulletin released on Wednesday (02), by the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP), oil production in Brazil in July increased 10.9% in relation to the same period in 2019, and 2, 2% compared to the month of June.

Together, 3.078 million barrels of oil were produced per day in July. This represents 130 million cubic meters per day, the amount being 1.4% greater than production in June and 5% greater than July 2019.

"During the month of July, 33 fields had their respective production temporarily interrupted due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, of which 16 seafarers and 17 onshore, and a total of 60 marine production facilities remained with production interrupted," he said. the ANP in a statement.
