Ecuador's pipeline resumes activity

After carrying out repairs caused by damage to the structure, the pipeline of Ecuador (Petroecuador) State resumed the transport of oil in the country.  Last Saturday, August 5, the system had been paralyzed due to drilling in pipeline for alleged criminals.

The State-owned oil company said it managed to avoid the contamination of the environment in the location of the repairs and are moving actions to punish those responsible. Currently, the system has the capacity to carry 360,000 barrels of oil per day.
