Polo Ceará: Petrobras begins binding stage

Last Wednesday (4), Petrobras began the binding stage of a process for the sale of all its participation in shallow water fields in Ceará, known as Polo Ceará. 

The Polo has been in operation since the 1980s, and comprises the fields of Tuna, Curimã, Espada and Xaréu, located at a distance of 30 km from the coast of the state of Ceará. 


Through a statement, the company, which is the operator in the fields with a 100% stake, also announced that the average production in 2019 was 4,200 bpd of oil and 76,900 m³/d of gas.
