Power to reduce surplus production of LNG

The producers of liquefied natural gas (LNG) are investing in the sale of products as a form of energy to countries like South Africa and Chile. There are at least five global projects that may be developed as an integrated LNG energy chain.

According to Sanford c. Bernstein & Co, the strategy is due to the fact that the global production of LNG is expected to generate a record surplus of 46 million tons per year until 2019, percentage 13% above what the market needs. Because of this, companies are investing in other areas to sell future spares.
