Replan will have its production normalized in 2019 due to the fire in August

Last Tuesday, October 30th, Petrobras reported that the Paulínia Refinery (Replan), located in São Paulo, will only return its total and integral production in the month of February 2019, after repairs to the damage caused by the explosion followed by fire in August this year. The units affected by the catalic cracking and distillation will be released in December this year and next year.

Since September, refinery productivity is maintained only 50% of total production in areas not affected by fire. The National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and biofuels (ANP) is investigating the case, but can only communicate the result after the completion of the document.

The refinery is responsible for the production of oil equivalent to 434,000 barrels and corresponds approximately to 20% of all oil refining in Brazil.
