Robots replace probes in the offshore

The task of the probes to connect hundreds of threads of extraction ducts as they are pushed along kilometers through the bottom of the ocean and rocks with oil may be in the hands of robots. One example is the Iron Roughneck, manufactured by National Oilwell Varco.

The machine also has decreased the need for men in the area from three to two people. As you can see in the industry, as technology advances, the automation in companies is greater, which may not be necessarily a very good result, especially for the jobs. This is because the old story of science fiction books and movies is already happening. Workers are being replaced by machines.
