Shell and Total are seeking agreement on Iran

The anglo-Dutch Shell company is seeking a deal to develop a major oil field in Iran. Already the Total French said plans to close its second big business with Iran's energy sector. Both deals are a milestone in Iran's industrial sector, which has been developing with more strength in recent years.

The two companies have not yet commented officially on the agreements, but a spokesman for the Iranian energy Ministry did not say if the companies are committing with a level of spending.
