Shell expects exemption from compliance with local content

Shell Oil has high expectations for the granting of local content of the exemption requested by the British consortium. The company expects the National Agency of Petroleum (ANP) authorizes the exemption.

The ANP examines the application Libra consortium to allow the hiring of FPSO Libra 1 platform charter, which will be used in the pilot project, with local content lower than expected in sharing agreement. The consortium is operated by Petrobras and also includes the Union's representative in the project, the PPSA, France's Total, the CNOOC and CNPC Chinese, as well as Shell itself.
